Four Square Fine Arts represents mid-career fine artists from the UK, US and Europe. The curatorial approach emphasises the meditative and reflective in its materials, processes and subject matter. At LAF 2014, we will show ‚The Poetics of Space‘ an exhibition of work by artists illustrating the way we can gain a sense of our place in the world and in the universe.
Presenting:
„Inhabited space transcends geometrical space“
From The Poetics of Space, Gaston Bachelard (La Poétique de l’Espace, 1958) a phenomenological interrogation into the meaning of spaces which preoccupy poetry, intimate spaces like a home, and expansive spaces such as landscapes and forests.
Four Square Fine Arts shows new work by the gallery’s artists: Marco Crivello, Eberhard Ross, Thomas Zika, Cara Enteles, Anke Roder, Harm Jan Boven, Chen Ruo Bing, Danielle Van Broekhoven, Linda Felcey and Harald Schmitz-Schmelzer
